Thriveology Elevated Daycare and Clinical Services was founded by a team of child developmental professionals with many years of experience working within schools. As their roles in the school system began to erode, they came together to create an innovative private practice. The team knew that building the clinical side of the business would be relatively straightforward, but their dreams were much larger; they wanted to build a full-service daycare where children could play, learn, and grow, all with the specific clinical supports they needed worked into their daily routines.
The Thriveology team focused on building out the clinical side of the business first. In addition to needing a professional space to work with clients, they also wanted somewhere to come together and pour over business plans with a warm coffee and a whiteboard in a quiet and supportive environment. NABI was able to fit all three aspects of their launch needs, providing spaces to meet and work with clients, spaces to meet internally for business planning, and eventually, a space that allowed them to test their daycare concept with a few children at a time. After gaining confidence in their unique system, they graduated from NABI to build their own customized space in Village Landing in St. Albert, which has become their long-term home.
Today, the business is truly thriving. The Thriveology team recently received a grant that will allow them to continue to build out their dream location, including a sensory room equipped with a climbing wall and bubble tubes. Greater ideas are also on the horizon, including potential new locations across the greater Edmonton area.
