NABI’s Wellness Hub has truly been a hub of activity. The micro-incubator has welcomed a variety of health-focused businesses into the purpose-driven space, including Dionne Sackiw of Sunshine Psychological Services, Caitlin Roberts of Child’s Play Psychology, and Ruth Pullam of Ruth Pullam Counselling.
Members of the Wellness Hub have seen the most benefits from the supportive atmosphere, connections and cross-referrals, and on-hand business resources. Dionne finds the intimate environment is highly supportive, providing opportunities to connect, but with the balance of private, quiet space to work. Ruth agrees, sharing that the Wellness Hub is not only an excellent support system for small businesses, but a valuable resource for the community. By offering a convenient and comfortable place for clients to fully focus on their health and wellbeing, the Wellness Hub makes wellness services more accessible than ever in the St. Albert community. Clients can even be introduced to services they didn’t know were available, leading to a fuller and more focused system of care.
Members of the Wellness Hub encourage other wellness-based businesses to make the most of the flexible, supportive environment, even pointing out that the concept could be duplicated for other types of businesses and specialties.
