NABI Commons Business Coach Profile: Connie Clark Chelsey Tattrie

Connie Clark

Mission Computers

Connie Clark has two talents that make for the ideal business coach; she’s been through the trenches of owning a business (with nearly 26 years of success under her belt!), and she’s a tech wiz who can save you hours of work each week. She’s also a NABI Alumni!

These days, there’s an app or program for nearly every business process: project management, client management, accounting and bookkeeping, sales, marketing... The list goes on and on. Technology is supposed to save business owners time, but as Connie Clark knows, it’s easy to fall into a technology trap. Too many programs and not enough user knowledge can quickly back up your operations instead of improving them.

Connie is your local IT support and training solution for all those programs you use regularly. Can you imagine how great it would be to have an expert just a phone call away for those tech emergencies?

Connie’s not just going to fix your immediate problems, though; she’s going to put the power back in your hands so you can navigate through future challenges. “You can’t make something out of nothing,” Connie says. “I give people the tools, process, and perspectives they need to do it themselves.”

The one question Connie fields often is: “Why do I need to learn about this program if I can just Google my questions when I need an answer?”

Connie says that often, it’s not about finding the right answer, but asking the right question. She provides clients with processes and knowledge they didn’t even know to ask for. In one case, she was able to save a client 3 hours of work per week by showing her a shortcut in Word she hadn’t even realized was a possibility.

Technology changes at a rapid pace, and in order to stay relevant and deliver what her clients need, Connie has adapted her business several times. She started out with a classroom environment, but in more recent years, it’s one-on-one or small group sessions that her clients are primarily asking for. In the near future, her services will also be streaming online, with monthly webinar sessions that let you take in the information you need in small, digestible bites. Now, she’s topping all of her instruction off with one-on-one coaching at Commons, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her!

So, what can Connie help you with at Commons?

Connie has a broad range of knowledge, but the programs and devices she works with most are:

  • The Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Maximizer CRM
  • Quickbooks
  • Wordpress
  • Apple products
  • Smartphones, including Blackberry and iPhone
  • Social media platforms
Connie is starting 2018 off right with coaching at Commons. You can get off on the right foot too, by dropping in to Commons to see her and our other resident experts.

Connie will be available on the first Monday of every month to answer all your tech and business questions. Check the coaching schedule, or feel free to get in touch with Connie directly by email or phone (780-945-1831).
